AMERICAN WOMEN

What we could have from the image especially when the image includes distinct motifs which trigger specific association?

PATTERNS (renovated with the new and footnotes)

A
It is mainly about the gap between the monk and the ad sign.
Obviously, the latter represents the consumerism and some pointed out that this has a bit of social satire.

B
Most of viewers misunderstands that this is made by digitally manipulating 2 or 3 photos, but this in fact was made by utilizing the mirror-like surface of the police station at the traffic, Ginza.
LOOK AT THE WARP WHICH DOUBLES THE BUTT OF THE CAB AND THE CROSSING ROAD!

C
This pattern itself includes 4 elements : a well-cut lawn, half melted snow, a grain of wood and a solid fence. Those have nothing special and not appealing, but it looks fresh when assembled.

the simplest one : a bulk of the clothes, the lines on the wall and man's claustrophobic figure and gaze. The mixture of those makes something.

the shape of pine trees' shadow is strongly controlled by the perspective. Also, I love the contrast between a homeless man, the horizontal line in upper and the wide scenery with nothing but a man.

I was in instant need of making a part of the brochure.

What I was surprised at is my obsession with symmetry, recurrent patterns, vague women and a bit of disorder.

Compared to 3rd photo of PATTERNS, it seems to have the same underlying theme.

I hope it would work
